Horley Accessibility Map
Within the site itself there is a new neighbourhood centre which includes educational, medical, leisure and retail facilities. Also within close proximity are a number of schools (primary and secondary), railway stations and an airport!
It sounds like you’re all sorted, however if you fancy even more, your nearest town of Horley is only a 6 minute cycle ride (or a 25 minute walk) away. Here you’ll find an even bigger selection of facilities including post office, restaurants, public houses, supermarkets and independent and national retail chains among many others. Horley Railway Station is located approximately 3km (a 30 minute walk or 9 minute cycle) from you. The station is also well served via both the number 22 and Fastway 100 bus services.
The station is well equipped to suit your every need, with 76 cycle storage spaces, 71 car parking spaces, customer help points and CCTV.
Horley Railway Station has great access to lots of stations including London Victoria, Horsham and Brighton. Some of the destinations along these routes include Croydon, Crawley and Gatwick Airport. This should make your commute, weekend away or day trip as easy as possible.

As the local bus network offers convenient routes to most local destinations, with frequent services, could this be the travel mode for you? Buses run regularly all throughout the day, so whether you need to get to work, the shops or pick up the children from school, the bus provides comprehensive access to many destinations.

Horley Cycle Routes
This handy map is found on Sustrans and is helpful in finding cycle routes in any given area. The green shows traffic free routes, whereas the purple routes are on-road.
In addition, Riverside Green Park is located an approximate 11 minute cycle to the south of the site. The park forms part of the Horley Green Chain which is a belt of public open space providing a key commuter route between Horley and Gatwick Airport as well as a recreational and leisure facility for all to enjoy.
