Whitehill Bordon Green Town
There are plans currently in place to redevelop Whitehill Bordon to provide 4,000 new homes, new local facilities and numerous new jobs. The redevelopment aims to have local facilities and jobs within a 5 minute walk of residential areas, to encourage more people to walk to work. As part of the development footways and cycleways will be implemented, connecting to areas of open space and new facilities. Improvements to the cycle network will help to make cycling to local services even easier! The relief road is now open to members of the public and aims to decrease the amount of traffic on Camp Road. There also proposals to increase public transport infrastructure in the local area by offering a wider range of bus services.

The Green Loop
As part of the redevelopment of Whitehill Bordon a 7 mile shared footway/cycleway will be provided through new and existing communities. The Green Loop, once completed, aims to help residents travel without using a car, offering users with both on-road and off road routes. The Green Loop is due to be completed this year!
