The centre of Billingshurst is 1200m away, which would take you roughly 12 minutes to walk to or 6 minutes to cycle. It may be best to cycle via Natts Lane as this prevents getting caught out by the level crossing if you choose to cycle via Station Road. There is a good range of shops to be found on the High Street including Budgens and Lloyds as well as more bespoke local shops such as a One Stop Computer Store or traditional pubs such as The Kings Arms and The Six Bells. There are also local facilities such as the Library, a doctors surgery and a Post Office which are all in a highly accessible town centre location.
There is a mini hub that is found in the surrounding train station area, which is located approximately 500m away from your home. This includes a Tesco Express, The Railway Inn pub, a Chinese restaurant and a number of vehicle repair garages. This is an extremely accessible location and is within perfect distance for a quick trip to the shops, picking up a takeaway or hopping on the train to work.
Compass Travel is the main bus service provider in and around Billingshurst. The closest bus stop to Marringdean Acres can be found to the south of Marringdean Road and just a few metres into Natts Lane. From here you can catch the 75 and the 100. The 75 travels to Petworth, Coolham and Horsham and the 100 goes to Burgess Hill, Pullborough and Horsham. Fishers Farm Park is an exciting adventure farm park located just over 3 miles away from the Marringdean Acres Development. It is great local day out for all the family that supports creative learning as well as having fun, which is the most important thing! They offer a number of activities for a range of ages that means that you will have fun no matter how old you are. Whether this be having an interactive experience with the local farmyard animals, watching one of the animal encounter shows or one of the exciting playground areas this is known to be a great day out in Billingshurst.
