Cycle to Work Day 2017 is back on the 13th September! The day aims to encourage everyone to travel by cycle for just one day. Here at PBA we are going to help you get on two wheels! Over the next week we are going to be posting extra blogs to help you prepare for Cycle to Work Day and who knows you might even prefer cycling to your current mode of transport.
Cycle to Work day is not only aimed at people who work, if you are a student or work from home you can still take part by getting out and about and cycling to school or the shops. Cycling is a great way to travel and could help you to reduce the cost of your commute. If your journey is too far to cycle how about cycling to/from the bus stop or train station. Don’t worry about storing your cycle at work, school or even the local shops as there are usually lots of cycle stands and loops available. If you’re not sure where you can leave your cycle visit the Urban Cycle Parking Website.
If that wasn’t enough to get you involved there are also a number of prizes available for pledges including several new bikes and cycling equipment.
Did you know that right now there are over 29,000 people signed up to taking part In Cycle to Work Day?! You could be another!
If you are ready to make the pledge visit cycletoworkday.org and don’t forget to stay tuned for more on how you can prepare for #CycletoWorkDay.
